DEAR FUTURE SISTERS,

Welcome to one of the most exciting chapters of your college experience! As you begin your recruitment journey, I want you to know how proud we are of the courage it takes to explore new opportunities and open yourself up to the potential of sisterhood. Whether you’re feeling nervous, excited, or a mix of both, know that you’re embarking on a journey that will shape you in ways you never imagined.

When I first came to the University of Florida, I had no idea how much my life was about to change. I was looking for something more than just a college experience—I was searching for a community that would challenge me, support me, and push me to grow. Little did I know that Alpha Chi Omega would provide all of that and more.

Joining this sisterhood was never just about the events, the memories, or even the incredible experiences (though they are amazing). For me, it was about discovering a space where I could show up as my true self, surrounded by women who celebrated my individuality and helped me become stronger every single day. The women here aren’t just friends—they’re a family that holds you to a higher standard, always encourages you, and walks alongside you through the challenges and victories of life.

If I could offer one piece of advice as you navigate this process, it would be to stay true to who you are. Each chapter has its own unique energy, and there’s a place for you where you’ll feel most at home. Pay attention to how you feel as you walk through the doors of each house—do you feel a sense of belonging? Do you feel like you could be yourself here? Let those feelings guide you.

Alpha Chi Omega is more than just a name—it’s a space where you’ll find women who lift you up, challenge you, and celebrate you. We’re a chapter that values real, meaningful connections over everything else. Whether it’s joining forces for a philanthropy event, laughing with your sisters during a late-night study session, or supporting each other through the highs and lows of life, you’ll always find a place where you can grow, thrive, and truly belong.

I am beyond excited for you to experience everything that our chapter has to offer. This is the beginning of something so special, and I can’t wait for you to see how this journey will shape your college experience—and your life beyond it.
